About Us

Rebuilding Together’s Serving Those Who SERVE was developed to meet the needs of injured soldiers and veterans returning from Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.   We focus on providing home modifications and repairs to help ease the transition of the veteran or soldier back into their home.

Rebuilding Together has been a leader in home repairs and modifications for 18 years and by working with their affiliate network and our founding sponsor Countrywide Financial, Serving Those Who SERVE is prepared to assist as many as fifty veterans during our first two years.

Serving Those Who SERVE focuses on helping veterans who suffer from one or any combination of four injuries including:

  • loss of sight
  • loss of hearing
  • mobility impairments
  • traumatic brain injury

The home modifications and repairs vary depending upon the specific project, and can range from replacing door knobs with latch handles; to remodeling a bathroom to include a zero entry shower with accessible fixtures; to building wheelchair ramps to make a home accessible.

About Rebuilding Together
